Rajuvula was one of the most powerful Indo-Scythian (Saka) rulers who governed the Mathura region during the late 1st century BC and early 1st century AD. Bearing the title Mahakshatrapa (Great Satrap), he established Saka authority over northern India after succeeding earlier satraps. His reign is well known through inscriptions and coinage, reflecting a blend of Hellenistic artistic influence with Indian and Central Asian traditions.

Coinage Note: Copper drachms of Rajuvula are among the most important Indo-Scythian issues of Mathura. Featuring a Greek-inspired royal portrait on the obverse and the goddess Pallas Athena on the reverse, these coins symbolize the fusion of Greek, Iranian, and Indian numismatic traditions.
