Madana Pala Deva was a ruler associated with the Tomara dynasty of Delhi, which governed parts of present-day Delhi and Haryana in India during 8th-12th century. The Tomaras played an important role in the political development of the Delhi region before the rise of the Chauhans and the subsequent establishment of the Delhi Sultanate. Their rulers maintained regional strongholds and supported local trade and administration. Bull-and-horseman coinage became a distinctive tradition in northern India, continuing across several ruling houses and reflecting shared monetary practices and regional artistic conventions.
