Tipu Sultan 1 Paisa (Zohra) AM 1218 Farrukhi Mint Rare Copper Coin

Tipu Sultan’s copper coin, commonly called “1 Paisa Zohra”, was minted during his reign (1782–1799 AD) in the Kingdom of Mysore. The name “Zohra” refers to the denomination used in his unique Islamic calendar system. Struck in beautiful calligraphy, these coins reflect Tipu’s independence, reformist zeal, and strong resistance against British rule.
